Downey resident Lloyd Bradshaw was named a finalist in the Cr?®me de la King "Karaoke Style" Elvis singing competition held Sunday at the Orange County Market Place in Costa Mesa as part of the 10th Annual Elvis Festival. Bradshaw, who sang "The Wonder of You," will now compete in the finals for best Elvis karaoke singer at the L.A. County Fair on Sept. 5. The Elvis Festival is an annual tribute to Elvis Presley, who died Aug. 16, 1977, and features tribute artists, impersonators, karaoke, and other entertainment amidst a swap meet. ********** Published: August 28, 2009 - Volume 8 - Issue 19
