DOWNEY – The Downey City Library will host a discussion Saturday on the needs of young children in military and veteran families. The talk is from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and is open to the public.

Parents and family members will be given tips on improving parent-child relationships, problem-solving skills, managing family stress, and strengthening family relationships.

Sponsored by the UCLA Nathanson Family Resilience, the program is free and pre-registration is not required.
