Dear Editor:

Over a year ago, I met Mazen Nabulsi at a meeting for the Cerritos College Foundation. At that time, Mazen was the chairperson.

We spoke about his plans to help students transition back to school and how community college was a great alternative for many high school students that may not consider a four-year university after graduation. I was amazed at Mazen’s passion for education and all the involvement he had dedicated to Cerritos College and the success of current and future students. 

When I heard he was running for Cerritos College Board, I immediately decided to support him. Mazen Nabulsi has invested his time, effort and energy in helping fellow students at Cerritos College.

Electing Mazen Nabulsi will benefit taxpayers in Downey, Norwalk, South Gate and Bell Gardens for many years to come. He is, hands down, the best candidate for the job! 

Now it’s our turn to invest in Mazen. A vote for Mazen is a safe investment.
