Dear Editor:

Many of us have heard the mournful cries of pets left outside during this cold and rainy season hoping that their owners will come to their aid. These helpless pets depend on us to protect them.

If you cannot bring them indoors, please put them in your garage with a night light so they are not in total darkness and an old blanket or sheet to keep them off the cold concrete.

If you are a reluctant owner, call SEACCA and let them have a chance for a life the deserve.
