Dear Editor:

There is a movement to allow renters not to pay rent while the coronavirus crisis is with us. This movement ignores the situation of small landlords like myself.

I am retired and depend on rental income for my survival. If we are going to help renters, it is only fair that we also help small landlords whose income depends on rental income and who will be in a precarious situation without it.
