Dear Editor:

PIH Downey is our community hospital that is being a good community citizen by sharing information and being transparent to the residents of Downey. Here’s a snapshot of what is happening and how we as a community can help.

Now is our chance to help, and reach out to the rest of our generous community committed to fight the coronavirus where we live. Doctors, nurses, medical staff need our help.

Service organizations, churches, non profits, agencies, businesses, community leaders,  families, individuals: If you don’t know someone struggling with COVID-19, you are likely to know someone soon.

Help PIH and help ourselves. It’s time to fight back.
