Dear Editor:

The United States government is totally dysfunctional.

Voting is totally partisan and therefore nothing is accomplished. I liken it to a fish tank aquarium: if you do not supply it with fresh water, the fishes will die. We need term limits on our representatives, not career politicians who, like President Biden, have been living on taxpayers’ money for over 50 years.

Without new and fresh ideas that term limits would provide, the government will die which is what has happened in the United States.
