Please publish my letter to the Assemblymember of Downey, Cristina Garcia:

Not everyone in your district is a Democrat, but whether we like it or not, you are our Assemblymember. I am writing you in regards to your post on your official website and the article that you posted: “It’s not safe to wear my hijab now that Trump will be President.”

As a political leader you represent all of us and you should carry yourself in a dignified, unbiased, professional manner. Because of people like you it’s not safe for anyone in the 58th District or in the State of California to wear “I Support Trump” t-shirts yet Trump supporters still pay for your salary with our hard-earned tax money.
