Dear Editor:

I went back to Citi Bank that is on the corner of Firestone and Lakewood to see if they would let me make a cash payment to my credit card without having to verbally state my Social Security number and where I work. 

I took my license to drive a motor vehicle and the credit card with the billing statement that was sent to my house and $100 cash. 

The manager told me I cannot pay $100 cash unless I stated verbally my Social Security number and where I work. The manager then said that she would only accept $25 cash unless I conceded. The minimum payment due is all she would take, that is their policy. 

No other bank in Downey has this policy. So I just paid the minimum due.
