Keller Williams associates in Downey took the day off last Thursday to participate in the company’s RED Day, an annual day of service to the community.

Associates spent the day volunteering at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center and raising money for the hospital.

“Many thanks to you and the entire Keller Williams crew for the wonderful fundraiser yesterday,” Rancho officials wrote in an email to Keller Williams. “It was a great turnout despite the rainy weather. You all did an outstanding job organizing and preparing the food, the décor was very festive and your staff had great energy and enthusiasm.

“As you know the monies raised will go toward funding therapeutic community outings for patients in our Day Rehab Center. The outings assist patients with their skills and confidence in getting back to participating in the community activities that are important to them. We can’t thank you enough for making a difference in the lives of the people we serve!”
