DOWNEY – Stay Gallery in Downtown Downey will host live standup comedy Saturday, April 29, with nine comics scheduled to perform.

Downey comedian Alex Caron is hosting the “Creatures of Habit” comedy show. Headlining is Julia Jasunas, who was recently named the new host of “This Just In,” by the creators of America’s Funniest Home Videos.

Jasunas has opened for comedians such Theo Von, Tom Arnold, Bobby Lee, Brad Williams, Ian Bagg, John Heffron, and more. She has also been featured in many regional musicals such as “Annie” (featuring Sally Struthers) with Cabrillo Music Theatre, “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change” and "Hairspray!"

Also scheduled to perform at Stay Gallery are Elyssa Phillips, Hans Hilton, Priscilla Gonzalez, Subhah Agarwal, Raul Reyes, Retha Jones, Ricky Woznichak, and Ryan Chalhoub.

Tickets are $10 online and $15 at the door.
