Downey resident Jose Meza graduated from boot camp Dec. 5 after 12 weeks of training at the U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot. “This is the ultimate proving ground for those who are driven by purpose, guided by values and aspire to earn the title reserved only for the few,” Meza’s family said. “We are so proud of you.”
