DOWNEY - Author Deanne Stillman will speak at the March 16 meeting of the Ezra Center for Mature Adults held at Temple Ner Tamid.Stillman's program is titled "Secret Jews: Wild Horses and the New World." Stillman will explore the ancient connection between Jews and horses dating back to the exodus; how Jews and horses traveled together during the Spanish Inquisition and found freedom in the modern promised land. The meeting begins at 10:30 a.m. and will be followed by a catered kosher lunch. Cost of the lunch is $6 for Ezra members and $7 for non-members.
