The pandemic raging across our country right now has had devastating consequences on small businesses. Among those suffering is Downey Yoga, which is struggling to pay rent and keep its yoga studio open.

“Since the pandemic and mandatory closures we are at severe risk of having to close down the business...,” Downey Yoga wrote on a GoFundMe fundraising page. “We have done absolutely everything so far to try and stay in business but it's tough being closed for 8 months. There is back pay for rent that needs to be paid as well as bills.”

Since launching Monday, the fundraiser has raised about $1,800.

“We want nothing more that to continue to be of service but we are under a hardship and now asking for help. Please send a donation if you can.”
