DOWNEY - Funeral services for Imogene Lee Query, 84, formerly of Downey, were held Monday at the Burkhardt Chapel in Oklahoma with Rev. Eric Snyder of First United Methodist Church officiating.Query died Sept. 30 at her home in Wichita, Kans. Burial was at Frederick Memorial Cemetery. She was born Nov. 8, 1924, in Frederick, Okla., to W.B. (Buck) and Mary Neal Veteto Dutton. She attended Henderson and Wilson schools and graduated in 1942. She married J.R. Anderson on March 16, 1944, and had two children, Dennis and Janet. In 1952, they moved to Downey. She continued living in Downey after her husband's death in 1965. She married her second husband, Cecil Lee, on March 31, 1971. In 1974, they moved back to Frederick. Cecil passed away in 1996. In May 2000, she married Basil Query. They continued to live in Frederick until July of 2002, when they moved to Wichita. Query is survived by her husband, Basil; daughter, Janet (Jerry) Limon; brother, Jim (Joyce) Dutton; daughter-in-law, Karen (Gary) Chaput; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dennis Anderson; and two husbands, J.R. Anderson and Cecil Lee. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Query's memory to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 607, Frederick, OK, 73542 or to the Frederick Cemetery Beautification Fund, 111 N. 11th, Frederick, OK 73542.
