Dear Editor: I love animals and currently I am helping get the dogs of SEAACA adopted.

There are many shelters out there who have more help when trying to get a dog adopted. They can take photos of the animals and even videos. It would help the dogs tremendously to get seen and therefore adopted.

The information they have on the dogs available is mediocre at best. I know they try their best but certain things would help get these pets a home. They could mention age, weight, potty trained, previous owner history if known.

Maybe showing a picture of the week for dogs available would help. There are many animal lovers that want to help these animals. I don’t know if there is some kind of publicity you can do or raise awareness to my cause.

Too many animals are dying and need help. Take a look at Friends of SEAACA on Facebook to see the work volunteers do.

I don’t know if my letter will help but it doesn’t hurt to try. People can also donate to both shelters in Downey.
