It’s hard to believe 1999 was 20 years ago (excuse me while I go cry in a corner). But it’s been two decades since Griffiths Middle School students created a time capsule not to be opened until 2019.

Today, GMS students opened that time capsule.

There were lots of goodies inside, including music by the Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys and NSYNC. Today’s middle school students weren’t even alive when boy band fever swept across the United States in the late 90s.
