DOWNEY - A fundraiser to benefit Duchenne muscular dystrophy research will be held Tuesday at the BJ's restaurant in Downey.Diners who present a flyer will have 15% of their bill donated to www.cureduchenne.org. The fundraiser is organized by Tony and Mariela Pedroza, whose 7-year-old son, Giancarlo, was diagnosed with the disease, which weakens the body's muscles.
