DOWNEY - It's not too late to take part in Soroptimist International of Downey's flamingo flocking fundraiser.For $25-$75, residents can have a friend's yard flocked with pink flamingoes. The "victim" pays a fee to have the flamingoes removed or to have another friend flocked. It's all in good fun, with the money supporting the service club's youth scholarship program.
