DOWNEY - Maude Price Elementary, in partnership with Downey Federal Credit Union, will host a series of financial education assemblies targeted specifically at students.The assemblies began Tuesday and lasted from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Students are learning the basics of money management, including savings, spending and sharing, while learning "while all three aspects of money management are important on their journey to financial success."
