DOWNEY - The city of Downey's Community Services department is planning a variety of excursions for adults and seniors this summer.For adults 18 and older, excursions are planned to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Lake Arrowhead, Solvang and a walking food tour of Pasadena. Trips are also planned specifically for seniors ages 50 and older, including excursions to the Hollywood Bowl summer concerts, a performance of "Les Miserables" at the Ahmanson Theatre, a performance of "West Side Story" at the Segerstrom Center in Costa Mesa and "Pageant of the Masters" in Laguna Beach. Registration for all trips begins May 3 at the Barbara J. Riley Community and Senior Center with a maximum of two tickets per excursion.
