DOWNEY - Evelyn Frances Silverlake, 94, passed away Nov. 21.She was born in Township of Grove, Minn., and was a Downey resident for the past 59 years. She was employed as a manager of Winchell's Donuts for 31 years and was a founding member of St. Raymond's Catholic Church in 1956. She was a member of St. Raymond's Women's Circle. She is survived by her three sons, Thomas Perry, Timothy John and Perry Richard; two daughters, Barbara Joan and Cynthia Evelyn; and two sisters, Lila and Beatrice. A Memorial Mass will take place today at 10 a.m. at St. Raymond's. Burial will immediately follow at Los Angeles National Cemetery, where Silverlake will be laid to rest beside her husband, who passed away in 1973.
