DOWNEY – Evdakia Sergieff, 87, passed away quietly at home on Dec. 16. Born March 3, 1927 in Russia, daughter of the late Feodor and Evdakia Sergieff, she emigrated to the United States in 1956. She was a sewing machine operator for many years until her retirement in 1989.

She is survived by her two sons and their wives, Mike and Betsy Sergieff, and Trifin and Barbara Sergieff; four grandchildren, Christopher, Trifin and Cain Sergieff, and Valerie Sergieff Didear; three great-grandchildren; and a niece, nephew and their families.
