DOWNEY - Funeral services were held earlier this month for Downey resident Emma Corella.She was born in Algodones, N.M., and worked in the accounting field. Funeral services were held Aug. 11 at St. Dominic Savio Catholic Church in Bellflower with Fr. Jack Gibson officiating. Burial was at All Souls Cemetery in Long Beach. She is survived by father, Fred and Marianne Miera of New Mexico; children, Betty Cisneros, Irene King and Anabelle Palacios; siblings, Ruben, Manuel and Clyde Miera; and stepchildren Alice, Lydia, Julio, Delia and Armeda; six grandchildren; and give great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Ignacio Corella.
