DOWNEY - Elisa Rosemarie Davis, 19, died Oct. 8 in Oakland.A Downey resident, she played basketball, volleyball and soccer, and was an honors graduate of Frederick K.C. Price III High School in Los Angeles. She was a sophomore at Cal State University East Bay, where she planned to major in psychology. Davis, a born-again Christian, often volunteered in her church's nursery and hoped to use her degree to help children. She is survived by her parents, Harry and Arcelia, and brothers, Shain and Jysiah Davis. A memorial service will be held tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Crenshaw Christian Center, 7901 S. Vermont Ave., in Los Angeles. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in Davis' memory to the Crenshaw Christian Center Nursery, 7901 S.
