DOWNEY — Downey’s newest Chick-fil-A restaurant is scheduled to open Tuesday at 6:30 am.

The restaurant is Downey’s third Chick-fil-A and is located at 9148 Telegraph Rd. on the site of what was Frantone’s Pizza and Chris’s Burgers.

The franchise is owned by C.R. May, who also owns the Chick-fil-A at Whittier and Rosemead boulevards.

According to a press release, the newest Downey Chick-fil-A will employ approximately 75 full- and part-time workers.

“I’m incredibly honored to continue my journey with Chick-fil-A as the local owner-operator of Telegraph and Serapis,” May said. “This community has become home to me over the past decade, and I’m excited to bring my experience and dedication to this new restaurant. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where our team members can grow and our guests feel truly valued.”
