DOWNEY — The Apollo capsule located outside the Columbia Memorial Space Center will be lit up for the holidays at a free community event Saturday, Dec. 10, from 4-7 pm.

The event will feature a live performance by TubaChristmas with conductor Dr. Anthony Mazzaferro. Tuba players will be playing classic holiday tunes.

There will also be hands-on activities and a demonstration on how to make your own snow.

The space center is located at 12400 Columbia Way.
