The Downey High School dance team brought their copy of The Downey Patriot as it celebrated its 10th year by upsetting the reigning champions in the Hip Hop category during the MDDTUSA Regional Competition at Six Flags Magic Mountain last Sunday. Mira Mesa High School has held the Hip Hop title since 2002 before Downey beat them this year.
