Downey firefighters responded to the 8300 block of Florence Avenue last night where a motorhome was fully engulfed in flames. According to Engine 63, the motorhome had been parked for three months and was out of gas when the owner put in a few gallons of gasoline. Shortly after starting the vehicle, smoke was seen coming from the engine compartment. The fire quickly spread to the cab and then ultimately to the rest of the motorhome.
