Ronald and Marilyn Sheldon of Downey are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. 

The couple was married May 24, 1958 and plan to celebrate with extended family in June. They have one daughter, one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. 

They met in elementary school and are high school sweethearts.
