DOWNEY — The Downey City Council approved an agreement with Downey Art Vibe (DAV) on Tuesday, allowing the group to continue operation of the Stay Gallery for three years.

The agreement includes an amount not to exceed $75,000 for the term of Aug. 1, 2020 through May 31, 2023.

The city’s subsidy is used to pay rent for the facility, located at 11140 Downey Ave.

The DAV and Stay have operated with the city under such terms since 2012.
