Doris Wagner, a resident of Downey for 50 years, passed away on May 10, 2009. She was 88 years old and the daughter of Roscoe and Vera Sewell of Sabina, Ohio. Her sister, Helen Bottenfield, bore Doris' cherished niece, Linda McCann of Rockford, Ohio.Doris and her husband, Bob were married for 63 years until his death in 2001. Together, they traveled the world, always finding new adventures (especially when they got lost in foreign countries). Doris is survived by her son, Don Wagner and his wife Susan, of Tustin, her daughter, Janice Emery of Seal Beach, grandchildren, Jaime Emery, Erica Wagner-Cruz and Matt Wagner as well as Erin Houston and Alex Mate, She had four great grandchildren: Bryan and Timothy Wagner, and Michael and Miranda Cruz, all of whom brought her great joy. She lived for her family and we lived for her.
