DOWNEY – Downey’s third annual Dia de los Muertos Art Festival will take place Sunday, Nov. 1, at the Downey Theatre, city officials have announced. “The past two years have been an overwhelming success; over 12,000 people enjoyed both visual and performing arts, presented by local artists of Latin American heritage,” said Mayor Luis Marquez. “Please join the city in supporting this fun, free, family-friendly, all-day festival that showcases Downey’s cultural riches, and that brings our community together.”
