DOWNEY -- The sixth annual Healthy Downey 5K for TLC will take place Saturday, Feb. 24, at Apollo Park, organizers announced. 

Proceeds from the run/walk benefit the TLC Family Resource Center, which provides free health and human services to students and their families. 

“TLC exists heavily on charitable contributions, grants and fundraisers,” said Luz Perez, the program’s coordinator. “Your tax deductible donation will help us support students facing challenging times.” 

Sponsorship opportunities are available, ranging from $50-$1,000. Sponsor forms are available online at dusd.net/tlc.
