DOWNEY - Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Cristian H. Galindo has completed basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Tex.Galindo completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. He also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force. The son of Elvin and Rosa Galindo, he graduated from Downey High School in 2005.
