On 5/6/2024 at 12:45 AM, officers on patrol in the area of Downey Ave and Gardendale attempted to stop a vehicle for traffic violations. A short vehicle pursuit ensued and the driver was eventually caught. A search of the vehicle revealed a stolen firearm. The suspect was arrested for several charges.

On 5/8/2024 at 3:40 AM, officers responded to the area of 7300 Florence Ave regarding an armed robbery. The victim stated the suspects entered the business with a firearm and demanded property from the victim. The suspects fled the scene and no injuries were reported by the victim. Detectives are investigating.

On 5/8/2024 at 8:45 PM, officers responded to the area of the Stonewood Mall regarding a grand theft. The victim stated several suspects entered the business, grabbed several items and fled the scene without paying. The victim estimated the merchandise to be worth $30,000-$40,000. Detectives are investigating.

On 5/11/2024 at 7:15 PM, officers responded to the area of 8300 Gardendale Ave regarding a robbery. The victim stated the suspects entered the location, removed items and fled the scene. No injuries were reported by the victim and detectives are investigating.
