On 3/22/2021 at approximately 4:55 pm, officers responded to the 11500 block of Dolan Ave regarding a Critical Missing elderly adult. The male climbed out of a window in the memory care unit of the retirement center. The missing placed a chair at the base of his bathroom window, tore off the screen, and climbed out the window. Officers located the male a few hours after receiving the call.

Detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred on 3/24/2021 at about 10:25 pm in the alley off the 8600 block of Stewart and Gray Rd. Several subjects gathered in the alley where a fight ensued. The suspect drove up to the group and discharged a firearm into the air. It appeared the suspect fired the gun with the intent to disperse the group. The suspect left the alley prior to officers’ arrival. Officers were not able to locate the suspect. No one was injured in this incident.

On 3/25/2021 at approximately 8:15 pm, two subjects began arguing in the parking lot of 8890 Apollo Way (Bar Louie) over a parking space. The suspect, a male adult, retrieved a firearm from his waistband and pointed it at the victim. The suspect and a female associate left the area in their vehicle as the victim called the police. While being interviewed in the parking lot, the victim observed the suspect and female waiting in line at Bar Louie. The suspect was detained and the female associate was found to be in possession of a stolen firearm, which was the same weapon that had been pointed at the victim. The male was placed under arrest for assault with a deadly weapon and the female was arrested for possession of a stolen firearm.

On 3/27/2021 at approximately 10 pm, the male adult suspect was waiting in line at 8860 Apollo (Bar Louie) and began to complain due to the wait time and was asked to leave. The suspect punched a waiter in the face and was restrained by security. Security walked the suspect off the premises and once he was let go, the suspect pulled out a knife and chased security with it. The suspect was tackled to the ground by bystanders and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.
