Crime Report

Friday, Feb. 15At 3:30 p.m., officers responded to a call of 2 suspicious subjects entering the 105 freeway via an access door at Dunrobin Ave. When officers arrived the subjects fled into the residential area, where one of them was located and arrested. It was discovered that the subjects had cut several copper wires from an electrical box along the freeway. The wire and several tools were located. One suspect was arrested and the second is still outstanding. Detectives are investigating.

Saturday, Feb. 16 At 11:00 p.m., officers responded to a fight inside of Kelley's Tavern bar. (8148 Firestone Blvd) The victim was seated at the bar when he and another patron got into an argument, which led to a physical altercation. During the fight, the suspect struck the victim with a bar stool, causing minor injury to the victim. The suspect fled prior to officer's arrival. The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. Detectives are investigating.

Sunday, Feb. 17 At 3:00 a.m., officers responded to the rear of 8221 Firestone Blvd. regarding a stabbing that had just occurred. Once on scene, officers located two adult males that had each been stabbed several times. The victims were treated on scene before being taken to a local hospital for further treatment for their non life threatening injuries. An investigation into the incident was conducted and it was discovered a fight had occurred outside of the Mosiak Hookah lounge (11029 Downey Ave) and when the two victims attempted to intervene to stop the fight they were each stabbed. Detectives and forensic employees responded to the scene to handle the investigation.

Monday, Feb. 18 At 6:50 p.m., Officers responded to the 9800 block of Foster Road regarding a robbery at the location. When Officers arrived they spoke with two victims who reported the suspects walked into their residence and demanded money. The suspects were armed with handguns. The suspects were unable to obtain any property from the victims and ran out of the residence. No injuries were reported and detectives are investigating.
