NORWALK - In light of recent tragedies and disasters such as the Connecticut school shooting and East Coast snowstorm, the Cerritos College Project HOPE will host a disaster preparedness conference this Saturday.The event will feature a disaster preparedness workshop by the American Red Cross and a presentation on how to prepare for an active shooter situation. The event is free and open to the public but guests are asked to RSVP by calling (562) 860-2451, ext. 7847. The conference will take place in the Science Building Room S 201 and 202.
