NORWALK - The Cerritos College District Board of Trustees is accepting letters of interests and statements of qualifications from people interested in filling the board vacancy created by the death of Bob Epple on April 13.The board of trustees is expected to name an appointment June 8, who will serve until the next regularly scheduled election. To be eligible for the trustee board, the person must be a registered voter living in the Cerritos Community College District, which encompasses several local and surrounding communities, including Downey. Interested people should mail a letter of interest and statement of qualifications to Dr. Linda Lacy, president/superintendent, Cerritos Community College District, 11110 Alondra Blvd., Norwalk CA 90650.
