DOWNEY - Josh McDowell, author of more than 120 books including "More than a Carpenter," will be at First Baptist Church of Downey this Sunday.McDowell will give two lectures, the first at 8 a.m. and another at 11 a.m. The event is free and open to the public. McDowell has been writing books since 1960. "More than a Carpenter" is available in 85 languages and more than 15 million copies are in print. First Baptist Church of Downey is at 8348 E. 3rd St.
