DOWNEY – Tickets are on sale for Community Family Guidance Center’s Children’s Benefit Dinner, taking place Thursday, May 2, at the Sheraton Cerritos Hotel.

Former Downey school board member Martha Sodetani will be presented with the agency’s Protector of Children Award at the dinner.

The keynote speaker is David Ambroz, head of community engagement for Amazon and a bestselling author.

Former Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon will serve as the welcoming speaker.
