DUSD teachers, students and administrators celebrated Character Counts Week last month. Campuses were decorated in red, orange, purple, yellow and green, signifying the “Six Pillars of Character.” Each day was dedicated to a different pillar and each school showed theyr character through different events, assemblies and themes throughout the week.

The six pillars of character include trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.
