DOWNEY - Talented songstress Barbara Leigh will bring her "unique combination of song, history and humor" to Downey Adult School's OASIS (Older Adults Seeking Information and Skills) meeting Monday at 3:45 p.m.Leigh's program, "Celebrating Our American Heritage," will feature historical narratives about presidents Lincoln and Washington, in addition to patriotic heritage stories. Registration for the program is free and begins at 3 p.m. The program begins at 3:45 and is followed by an optional dinner. Dinner tickets are $3.50 and must be purchased at time of enrollment.
