DOWNEY - Local author Ron Davis will be at the Downey City Library on March 17 from 4-5 p.m. to discuss, sign and sell his book, "Tom Finn, An Uncommon Odyssey," a story of his grandfather's journey from Ireland to the black hills of South Dakota.Davis, who was educated in both Ireland and the United States and now lives in Downey, will provide a glimpse of Tom Finn, a colorful and interesting man, and his many adventures. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Downey City Library.
