DOWNEY - Downey resident Arturo Castellanos, born July 1, 1946 in a ranch in Jalisco, Mexico, passed away in the early hours of March 16.He held many jobs throughout his life, including working at his family farm as a child, and later as a cook and in roadside assistance. He had recently retired and spent his mornings walking his granddaughter to Griffiths Middle School, followed by yard work. He is survived by his son; three daughters; 13 grandchildren; an ex-wife; mother; sister; and four brothers. He will be buried in Tecate, Baja California alongside his father.
