DOWNEY - Arc of Southeast Los Angeles County has been accredited by CARF International, the sixth consecutive time Arc has received the three-year accreditation.The accreditation is specifically for Arc's employment community services programs in the areas of job development, job supports, job site training, organizational employment services and governance standards. In order to receive the accreditation, Arc put itself through a rigorous peer review process "and has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurable and accountable." "I am very proud of the volunteers and staff at Arc who make it such a special place," said Raul Lopez, president of Arc's board of directors. "We know this accreditation decision confirms our dedication toward the highest quality of services for people with disabilities."
