Anthony Louis Vigueria Morales

March 2, 1986 - July 7, 2023

Anthony Morales, 37, was born on March 2, 1986, in Bellflower California to Lisa Vigueria-Morales and Louis Morales, Jr. Anthony passed away in the City of Anaheim and joined the lord on July 7, 2023.

Anthony grew up in Downey and was active in youth sports from 1995-2001 and played baseball at Northwest Downey Little League (NWDLL), basketball and baseball at DJAA, and youth football with the Downey Razorbacks. Anthony attended grade school at Rio Hondo Elementary School then went on to attend Griffiths Middle School, West Middle (Stauffer), and East Middle (Doty). Anthony attended Warren and Downey High School and graduated from Downey High School in 2005.

After graduating from American College in 2010 with a Pharmacy Tech license, Anthony moved to Anaheim where he lived with his wife Stephanie Nakayama where they were raising their son, Renzo (9). Anthony changed career paths and worked in the security systems industry and worked for various companies including working as an independent contractor. Anthony was a devoted father who loved his son and family. Anthony had a passion for the outdoors and was compassionate and always willing to help anyone in need. Anthony will be sorely missed by family and by all that know him.

Anthony is survived by his family: Wife- Stephanie, Son- Renzo, Parents- Lisa Vigueria-Morales and Louis Morales Jr., Grandparents- Virginia Morales, Louis Morales Sr., and Sandra Lara, Brother- Austin Morales, Aunts/Uncles- Mary Maxwell, Mike Morales, Jessie Vigueria, Trina Vigueria, Nina Chagolla, and Anna Chagolla, Cousins- Drew Maxwell, Mike Morales, Matthew Morales, Anna Tapia, Natasha Vigueria, AJ Vigueria, Ralph Juarez, Angel Juarez, Gabriel Juarez, Eric Juarez, Paul Alfonso, Jacob Alfonso, Nicole Alfonso, Frankie Chagolla, Brianna Torres, Nathan Torres, Arie Torres, and Nick Torres.

A Mass Intention offering for Anthony took place on July 15, 2023, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and a memorial service for immediate family was held on July 18, 2023. A Celebration of Anthony’s Life will take place for family and friends on Friday, July 21 from 7pm-11pm at the Gus Velasco Neighborhood Center in the City of Santa Fe Springs.
