DOWNEY - Allison Iraheta hit the "American Idol" stage again on Tuesday, performing hit song "I Don't Want To Miss a Thing," by Aerosmith.This week being "Movie Week" the top seven contestants got to work with Quentin Terantino. Terantino was a guest judge on "Idol" back in season three, and is now well known for his films. His goal was to give the group advise on how to perform their songs to the audience and judges and truly deliberate. After having his one-on-one with Iraheta, he felt she was not fully performing to her potential. Iraheta performed amazingly, starting off in the center of the stage and as the song picked up put so much emotion into her song and passion not seen before. She still seems to amaze me and the judges with her voice. "Idol" judge Paula Abdul went on to compare her to Adam Lambert, another contestant, saying that she possesses the same "special sauce" he does in authenticity. Lambert is my favorite contestant next to Iraheta and to be compared to him by Abdul was Iraheta's biggest complement yet in my eyes. Simon Cowell another judge went on to say that she was the girl's only hope left in the competition and that he could see her going all the way to the end and I completely agreed. Cowell's and my own predictions of Iraheta making it all the way to the end reached one step closer to becoming true. On Wednesday's show she was the first to be saved and made it to the next week's show. With that said the bottom three consisted of Anoop Desal, Lil Rounds, and Matt Giraud. Last week both Desal and Rounds were part of the bottom three but got lucky when the votes came in just enough to save them. Dasal like last week made the cut and left Rounds and Giraud left in the bottom. Before Rounds and Giraud got the news of who else was saved Miley Cyrus hit the stage as a guest performer and sang her latest song "The Clime." I strongly felt that Rounds would be going home but was wrong. With Rounds saved, Giraud gave his last performance in hopes that the judges would use their only save of the season on him and keep him in the competition. He sang Bryan Adams' "Have You Ever Really Loved A Women," and after he was done the judges saved him from elimination leaving a top seven again. Next week the competition will be a little different because of the judge's save and instead of having one person leave, they will be elimination two contestants. I am almost 100 percent sure that Iraheta will not be part of those two, but I will have my fingers crossed for her and keep voting for her if she keeps performing as amazingly as she has been.
