Dear Editor:I am against the new shopping center. Within, roughly a 5-mile stretch, on Lakewood Boulevard there would be three shopping centers. Does that make sense? Maybe to our City Council but not to me. What I would like the council to do is finish what they have started in Downtown Downey. --Doris Hannon, Downey
